特徵描述

生活型

shrub

形態特徵

  • Scandent shrubs; young branches and buds silvery-brown.
  • Leaves chartaceous, ovate or elliptic or nearly orbicular, 5–12 cm long, 4–6 cm wide, acute at the apex, obtuse or rounded at the base, the lateral veins 5–8 pairs; petioles 0.6–1.1 cm long.
  • Flowers white, solitary on the long branches and 2–5 in a shortened raceme, cupulate; perianth-tube about 3.5 mm long, the lobes triangularly ovate; stamens 4, the anthers elliptic, about 1.5 mm long, the filaments about 0,5 mm long; style 2–2.5 mm long, glabrous.
  • Fruit broadly elliptic to elliptic, 1.8–2.0 cm long; seed 8-ribbed, 1.6–1.9 cm long.

  • 台灣 : Very rare in the thickets of Lanyu island.
  • 世界 : The Philippines.
